Viennese Vermouth – Pure zest for life
Over a year ago, Andreas Sael (a 25-year veteran in gastronomy and long-time managing director of "Das Sperling" in Augarten) and Peter Tikal (20 years in advertising – CEO of "Jung & Nett" agency) decided to turn their shared passion for vermouth into something bigger. Shortly thereafter, the brand "Wiener Wermut" was born.
"Vermouth is a drink as steeped in history as Vienna itself. Our goal was to create an elegant beverage that perfectly balances tart and sweet flavors. The name ‘Sissi and Franz’ fits perfectly – representing the eternally young, the joyful, and the free. Always with a wink, full of zest for life, desire, and adventure. That’s also reflected in our vermouth," says Andreas Sael.
